Messy Church, St. Paul's, Starcross Messy Church is a national movement (www.messy church.org.uk); it’s a different way of being church, for families with children.

Messy church has been running at St. Paul’s Starcross since April 2009 and we want to make it easier to share our information on dates and events etc. so now we have this page. It’s not a forum for comments, just a way to keep everyone who is interested up to date. We meet every 3rd Weds at 3.30(after school) starting with a gather time with drinks and biscuits. We learn of that month’s t

heme, then spend a bit under an hour on related art/craft/edible stuff. There is a short lively service pulling it all together and then we share a cooked tea together. Messy is not so much describing our activities (though sometimes they are!) but describes an informal gathering of many different people with our varied and sometimes complicated lives.
