Christmas can be hard for many, especially for those of us whose loved ones have died, whether recently or long ago. If you would like your loved one remembered in church this year, we can add their name to our Christmas tree. Donations, this year will be going towards the roof appeal. To have a name included, please contact Rosie Goodwin or sign the list in church.

A HUGE THANK YOU to all who gave to our gift day, in an attempt to finish our roof fundraising. If all of the pledges deliver, with gift aid, we raised just under £10,000. AMAZING! This leaves just over £13,000 still to raise.
If you made a pledge, please can we encourage you to action it, if you have already not done so?

***GIFT DAY UPDATE***
Thank you to everyone who kindly supported our Gift Day for the Roof Appeal last Sunday. If anyone would like to donate further please could we encourage you to do so. It would be such an amazing end to a quite incredible, rebuilding year, if we could raise the remaining funds.
Pledge / donation forms have been given out in Church and can also be downloaded here https://www.euxtonparishchurch.org/Publisher/File.aspx?ID=320007. Please complete and bring with you on Sunday / drop off at the Vicarage. There will also be an opportunity at our services to give / pledge. If you pay tax then please do remember you can gift aid your donation which enables us to claim an additional 25% back from the Government.

***ROOF UPDATE***GIFT DAY***
So far, we have raised £304,526 through donations, fundraising and grants - this is an incredible amount, thank you. We have only £23,000 to go to reach our target. It would be amazing if we could get this amount pledged or donated before the end of the year.

On Sunday 27th November we will be holding a gift day for the rest of the roof money. This gives us time to ask God to guide us, to help us trust him (yes we acknowledge things are tough financially for many at the moment) and to help us be generous. Our gift day will be an opportunity for us, as church family to dig deep and donate or pledge to donate (say over the coming 6 months).

In many cases this will be a step of faith, but we trust that God will provide for us, both as a church, but also for us individually. Please do be thinking and praying over the coming weeks, and following what God prompts you to do. Remember too that if you pay tax then if you gift aid your donation we can claim an additional 25% back from the government.

A 17th century church in Chorley has reopened after undergoing months of extensive renovations costing over £200,000.

There will be a Garden Party to raise money for the roof appeal on Saturday 16 July from 2-4pm. Refreshments, children’s activities, stalls all available. Tickets are £4 adults and £2 children and are available soon. For more info please contact Kathleen Grant or Maureen Rooney.

🐜🪳Beetle Drive this Friday. Please come along and show your support for this great fundraiser and night of fun! Tickets need to be purchased in advance 🎲🎲

** ROOF FUNDRAISER FRIDAY 27 MAY 6pm**
Watch out, watch out, there’s a Beetle about! Please come along to our Beetle Drive and enjoy a night of fun whilst raising money for the Church Roof! Hot pot or hot dog supper and drink included.

Tickets are £5 adults, £3 children or a Family ticket for 4 @ £14. Available from Rosie G, Jacoba and Joanne Wilson.
