Tomorrow morning at 10.30 we gather at St Mark's for our service of Holy Communion. You are warmly invited to join us. Everyone is welcome.

In the evening at 5.30 at St Stephens we have our sung Evensong service. Our choir has been working hard, learning and preparing new music, and it promises to be a beautiful service of prayer and reflection. If you have never experienced Evensong, why not
give it a try?

Today is Holy Trinity Sunday and we are gathering for our service of Holy Communion at St Mark's at 10.30. We will be holding our Sunday School during the service. Please join us if you can - everyone welcome.

This morning's Collect

Almighty and everlasting God,
you have given us your servants grace,
by the confession of a true faith,
to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity
and in the power of the divine majesty to worship the Unity:
keep us steadfast in this faith,
that we may evermore be defended from all adversities;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.

Come join us this Sunday at 10.30 for our service of Holy Communion at St Stephen's as we celebrate the feast of Pentecost, the day the church marks the coming of the promised Holy Spirit. Our Sunday School will take place during the service. Everyone welcome.

Lots going on this Sunday in the parish. During our 10.30 service at St Mark's we are holding our APCM (Annual Parochial Church Meeting), when we reflect on the past year in parish life and give thanks for all that we have shared together. We will also elect churchwardens, representatives for the PCC and deanery synod. Afterwards everyone is invited to a bring-and-share lunch, so please stay if you can and bring something along to share; it should be a lovely chance to spend time together as a church community.

Tomorrow, Thursday, we celebrate the Feast of the Ascension at our 12 noon BCP Holy Communion service at St Stephen's. This day marks the end of Christ's earthly ministry 40 days after his resurrection and his exaltation as Lord. The service is always followed by coffee, cake and a chat. You are warmly invited to join us.

This Sunday, the sixth Sunday of Easter, our morning service of Holy Communion is at St Stephen's at 10.30. Our Sunday School will take place during the service. Everyone welcome.
At 5.30 we gather again at St Stephen's for our monthly sung Evensong service - we'd love it if you can join us.

Next rehearsal dates for our growing choir:
Wednesday 6th May: Rehearsal - 7.30pm
Sunday 10th May: Evensong - 4pm rehearsal for 5.30pm service.

If you think you might like to have a go at choral singing (or maybe you already have experience?) then please consider joining a choir
rehearsal.

You are welcome to just come along and have a go - we would love to grow our choir and, as Evensong is only once a month, the time commitment isn't huge! You don't need previous experience, just come as you are - the Choir Director Tom is a great teacher and we have fun!

Our next sung Evensong will be next Sunday 10th May at 5.30pm at St Stephen's Church.
