*Message from Fr. Taemin*

Dear all,

Following the announcement, made after the 10am service today, I wanted to share this news first within our WhatsApp family, then on page and our parish website.

Before you read the formal announcement, I want to say how deeply grateful I am for your love, prayers, friendship, and support throughout my ministry at St George’s. This parish community has been a true blessing to me and my family. While this news may come with mixed emotions, I hope we may walk through this season together with thanksgiving, prayer, and trust in God’s guidance.

Please be assured of my continued prayers for all of you during this time of transition. I also ask for your prayers and support for our PCC and especially for our churchwardens, who will carry particular responsibilities in the coming months.

I look forward to sharing these remaining Sundays with you, and I hope many of you will be able to join both my final service at St George’s and the Induction and Installation service at All Saints’, Highgate.

*Announcement*

The Right Reverend Dr Anderson Jeremiah, the Bishop of Edmonton, has appointed the Revd Prebendary Taemin Oh, currently Vicar of the Parish of St George’s Enfield, as the next Vicar of All Saints’ Highgate, with the additional role of Area Ministry Support Officer.

His Induction and Installation will take place on Sunday 6 September 2026 at 5.00 pm at All Saints’ Church, Highgate. Further information regarding the service, including details on clergy robing, parking, and refreshments, will follow closer to the date.

Following this appointment, Fr. Taemin’s final Sunday at St George’s Enfield will be Sunday 16 August 2026. It is his hope to share as many Sundays as possible before the transition, allowing the community time to celebrate their ministry together and say proper farewells.

Please pray for Fr. Taemin and his family, for the people of St George’s Enfield and All Saints’ Highgate, and for all involved in this time of transition, that God may guide and strengthen them in the next chapter of their ministry.
