Everyone is welcome at our Sunday service at 10.30am or to join us for coffee and take a look around from 11.30am to 12.30pm on Sundays.

Saturday 6th June - 10-12noon coffee morning and Fairtrade.
Join us for a cuppa and a natter around our table. We always serve fairtrade tea and coffee. Visit the fairtrade stall and pickup your fairtrade goodies, gifts and foods.

Dear Father, as we step into the month of June, we come before you with gratitude and anticipation. We thank you for the gift of life, health, and the opportunity to experience another month and another new beginning. Guide us, Lord, with your wisdom and protect us from harm. Amen

What’s on at the URC this week?
Trinity Sunday is the first Sunday after Pentecost. The Trinity is God the father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost.

Saturday 30th May - Charity Prize Bingo, eyes down at 2pm

Sunday 31st May - 10.30am Morning worship, Trinity Sunday

11.30 refreshments after the service, join us and take a look inside the church

Saturday 6th June - 10–12noon Coffee morning and Fairtrade
Join us for a cuppa and a natter around our table. Taste our fairtrade tea and coffee before buying from the fairtrade stall and stocking up on your fairtrade goodies.

Sunday 24th May - 10.30am morning worship
Zoom service- we will connect to a service from one of our local URC churches. This is our first service conducted remotely. Join us as we try this for the first time.
Zoom services enable us to have the opportunity to always hold a service even when we have no preacher booked for a Sunday.

O merciful God, fill our hearts, we pray, with the graces of your Holy Spirit; with love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control. Teach us to love those who hate us; to pray for those who despitefully use us; that we may be the children of your love, our Father, who makes the sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. In adversity grant us grace to be patient; in prosperity keep us humble; may we guard the door of our lips; may we lightly esteem the pleasures of this world, and thirst after heavenly things; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
