Welcome to the new week, everyone.

Heavenly Father, In our times of distress, we call out to You, and trust that You hear our voice. There are times when we have run from Your call, hidden in our own stubbornness, or felt overwhelmed by the deep waters of life. When the currents swirl around us and we feel far from Your presence, remind us that we are never truly out of Your reach.

When strength fades and fear closes in, help us to remember You. Strip away the empty things we cling to, and turn our hearts back to Your mercy. Thank You for being a God of second chances who lifts us up from the pit. With a grateful heart, we surrender our fears and plans to You, knowing that salvation belongs to the Lord. When You speak, give us the courage to listen, to stand up, and to go where You lead. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Dear Lord,
thank You for the opportunity of a fresh, new week! Help us to focus on what matters the most this week. Please clear our mind of any distractions that might take our focus off You. Show us where to invest our time and energy this Monday and each day this week. Help us seek You first in everything we do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Welcome to the new week, everyone!

Gracious and loving God, You have shown us what is good, and you have made clear what you ask of us. Forgive us when we complicate your ways or offer empty gestures instead of changed hearts. Open our eyes to the needs of the vulnerable, the oppressed, and the overlooked. Strengthen us to stand up for fairness and what is right, even when it is hard. Soften our hearts with your compassion. Help us to extend mercy, forgiveness, and generous love to everyone we meet today, and keep us close to you. Remind us to rely on your guidance rather than our own pride, so we may live in a right relationship with you and our neighbours. Lead our steps today in your truth and love. In your holy name, we pray. Amen.
