Today at 12.30 p.m. is the final Celebrity Organ Recital of the series. Come along and enjoy the organ mastery of Kevin Duggan in an exciting all-Danish programme. £10 at the door.

As we enter the final week of the Fringe, we present our final Celebrity Organ Recital of the festival. We are tremendously excited to have Kevin Duggan, former Director of Music at Dunblane Cathedral, now based in Denmark, to give the final recital for Festival 2026: Great Danes. Although no dogs will be present, Kevin promises an exciting programme of everything from Buxtehude, Rued Langgard, Thybo and more! Come and be wowed as Kevin shows his virtuosity and prowess on our magnificent Wells-Kennedy organ. This will be a special experience. Tickets £10 at the door.

Tomorrow, Saturday 22 August, at 12.30 p.m. all of these seats will be taken up with the Choir (and friends) of Edinburgh New Town Church, the New Town Sinfonia, soloists Nikki Foster and Rachael Liddell for our Vivaldi Gloria performance as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Come along for a lunchtime full of joyful Italian music. Tickets are £12 available at the door. We'd love to see you there.

Excitement is mounting for our rehearsal this evening. Tonight, the choir will meet the orchestra for a dress rehearsal of our Festival Fringe performance this Saturday (22nd) at 12.30 p.m. Music by Monteverdi, Palestrina and Pitoni culminating in Vivaldi's Gloria with the New Town Sinfonia. We are delighted to have soloists Nikki Foster and Rachael Liddell with us for this performance. Tickets are £12 and available at the door.

An epic recital of (mostly) North American music this lunchtime from Dunfermline Abbey's Master of the Music, Matthew Beetschen. Our final organ recital next Wednesday lunchtime is given by Maestro Kevin Duggan, until last year Director of Music at Dunblane Cathedral, and now based in Haslev in Denmark. Kevin will put the organ through its paces with an incredible programme of Danish music. Come and be wowed! 12.30 p.m. Wednesday 26 Aug. Tickets £10. You don't want to miss this.

Tomorrow is the second of our Celebrity Organ Recitals and will be given by Matthew Beetschen. Matthew is currently Master of the Music at Dunfermline Abbey, and will be presenting an American programme. Music includes Copland's Fanfare for the Common Man, Sousa's March:Liberty Bell, and works by Florence Price, George Shearing, as well as emigrees E Power Briggs and T Tertius Noble. Tickets are £10 available at the door from half an hour before the recital starts. All welcome. You can also pick up one of our autumn events brochures while you're there too.

It was lovely to have our former Director of Music, Brigitte Harris, with us yesterday lunchtime for a wonderful recital of Langlais, J.S. Bach, Peeters and Michael Schütz. Our next Celebrity Organ Recital is given by Master of the Music at Dunfermline Abbey, Matthw Beetschen on Wednesday 19 August at 12.30 p.m. He'll be celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the US Declaration of Independence with music by Copland (Fanfare for the Common Man), Sousa (March: Liberty Bell) and other American classics. Tickets are £10 available at the door.

Tomorrow is the first in our series of Celebrity Organ Recitals, and our first recitalist needs little introduction. It is a great pleasure to welcome back Brigitte Harris, our former Director of Music at what was St. Andrew's and St. George's West Church before it became Edinburgh New Town. Brigitte will playing music by Bach, Karg Ellert, Flor Peeters and Sweelinck among many others. Entry is £10 payable at the door.
