Please see our website http://www.allsaintsnewtonhall.org.uk/ for more information about services, activities and events at All Saints. Below is a taste of what we do:
Our main Sunday services are at 9am and 10.45am. The 9am service has a more tradional feel and the 10.45am service varies in it's style. For children we have
Junior Church at 10.45am on the 3rd and 4th Sunday of the month,
Messy
Church at 4pm on the 2nd Sunday
Rainbows (babies and toddlers) every Monday 1.30pm
Every Saturday we hold a coffee morning for a different charity or cause from 10.30am - 12
Our church has always played an important role in the community and continues to be part of and serve that community through prayer and action. We strive to be an inclusive church open to all who want to come and join us as we worship God and try to live out his purpose for us in our lives. Our hope is to provide a worship environment in which all will feel comfortable which reflects the rich heritage of our traditions in this modern age. In particular, children and families are actively encouraged to take part in church life. All Saints is an LEP, (Local Ecumenical Partnership). In short this means that it is both part of the Anglican Church and also the Methodist Church, (see the bottom of this page for links to our parent organisations). This influence of multi-denominations, reflects throughout the life of the church offering a wide mix in styles of worship and activities. The church premises are used for a wide variety of activities during the week including lunch club, Mothers' Union, Slimming World, Durham Dance and Brownies and Guides.
