*Stop Playing Church*
"having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." ~2 Timothy 3:5
Church isn’t a fashion show. It’s not a popularity contest. It’s not about who can shout the loudest, quote the most scriptures, or look the holiest on Sunday. God is looking for true servants with real hearts. Too many people know how to perform in the sanctuary, but struggle to live saved outside the building. We lift our hands in worship, but won’t lift our standards. We say “God is good” in public, but privately we’re still entertaining things God told us to let go of. Playing church may fool people… but it will never fool God. God is calling for authenticity. He's not looking for perfection... He's looking for honesty. He's not looking for religion... He's looking for relationship. He's not looking for routines... He's looking for repentance. It’s time to stop pretending to be holy, but living unrighteous. Stop pretending to be healed, while secretly broken. Stop acting delivered, while still in bo***ge to sin. Stop wearing titles without living the lifestyle. God doesn’t want a performance, He wants surrender. Some people are comfortable having church… but God is looking for people that are willing to "be" the church. The lights, microphones, and routines means nothing if there’s no real transformation. Because at the end of the day, church attendance won’t save you if your heart is far from Him. This is the hour to get serious with God. Stop playing church… and start being the Church.
