We have some incredible news to celebrate! The work happening right here at our hub is officially crossing borders and making waves!💫

We are so honored to be featured on the front page cover of Keniston Housing Association’s Summer newsletter, Talkback, down in the borough of Southwark!

What started as a humble gathering in our neighborhood has grown into a powerful movement of hope, connection, and mental health support. People outside our borough are taking notice, spreading the word, and looking to our community as an example of genuine healing, love, and unity.

While my own journey is highlighted, the true heart and weight of this story belongs to every single person who took part in this journey. Just look at those group photos on page one, the energy, warmth, and togetherness of our participants are what make this hub so special!

This is truly a testament to what happens when a community comes together in faith and love. As 1 Corinthians 1:27 reminds us, "God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise."
Thank you to everyone who supports our wellbeing family.

🌟This win belongs to God and to every single person who made it possible! 💙🎉

Our Well-Being Group had an absolute blast on our summer outing to Hollywood Bowl in Dagenham! 🌟

For several of our members, it was their very first time ever stepping onto a bowling lane. Watching everyone jump right in, from our first-timers to our fabulous members in their 80s who truly showed us how it’s done, was an absolute joy. The atmosphere was filled with incredible energy, unforgettable strikes, and endless laughter.

A very special shoutout to our incredible young work experience students. Each student took full responsibility for a group of six members, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills, proactive safeguarding, and a true commitment to safety and security.
Seeing our young people step up with such maturity and care makes me immensely proud of how much this group is growing and empowering the next generation of community leaders. 👏💫

Outings like this are all about bringing our community together, reducing isolation, sharing endless laughs, and creating happy memories that last long after the final frame. Seeing different generations encourage each other and share in the fun is what community building is truly about.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day so special! ❤️

"Strengthening ties, sharing joy, and building a better future together."🤩

I am incredibly grateful to share this look back at our Church Elm Hub 4th Anniverary celebration, capturing the warmth and unity of our community members, partners, and stakeholders coming together after four years of dedication. Moments like these make all the hard work behind the scenes incredibly rewarding.

🥳What an incredible milestone! This week, we celebrated the 4th Anniversary of our joint Food Club and Wellbeing Group at Dagenham Library. It was a beautiful afternoon filled with joy, powerful resident stories, and reflection on how far we’ve come.🥳

Serving as the Lead at Church Elm Hub has been a profound journey. While an incredible foundation of visionaries made this hub possible, I am privileged to be on the ground day in and day out, building this space block by block alongside my wonderful assistant, Lynn, who joined me as a volunteer and has been my absolute rock. This work is truly a God-assignment for us, and we are constantly in awe of His faithfulness in using this platform to transform lives.

Delivering sustainable community support requires a strong ecosystem. We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our local authority partners, dedicated funders, trustees, and professional networks who make our work on the ground possible.

A special thank you to Ajanta Deb Roy for your joining us and always being so encouraging. We also want to send a very special note of appreciation to our MP, Margaret Mullane for Dagenham and Rainham for Dagenham and Rainham . She has been an incredibly fierce champion and a massive pillar of support for our group from day one. While she was truly missed at the event, we deeply appreciate her continuous backing and are so excited to look forward to more celebrations together soon! 🥂🎉 ❤️

There is something truly profound about what happens when we step out of our busy lives and simply… breathe together.

Our "Holy Holistic" worship isn't just a gathering; it is a sacred space where the walls come down, and we are reminded that we don’t have to carry the weight of the world alone. In this circle, every story is heard, every voice matters, and every person is held in a spirit of compassion and grace.
Whether it is through the rhythm of a song or the silent understanding of a shared moment, gathering in community acts as a balm for the soul. It reconnects us to our purpose and to one another.

If you have been feeling that quiet tug to step into a space of belonging, please know that there is always a seat waiting for you here. You don’t need to be anything other than exactly who you are.

Take a look at this video to get a feel for the warmth we share. We are a community in bloom, and we would be honored to have you journey with us.

I am so proud to share that HOPE not hate
highlighting my story in their latest community flyer.

It is a blessing to see how my journey can help enlighten and encourage our local community.

While I am grateful for the work of the organization, I personally believe that Jesus is the answer to the world today. My own journey has taught me that without God’s grace, I wouldn't be here. I am a firm believer that prayers are real and they truly work.

At the Church Elm Hub Wellbeing Group, we are seeing lives change every day. While this is often called "social prescribing," I see it as a form of holistic well-being, addressing the mind, body, and spirit together.

I believe that with prayer and the right support system, we are experiencing miracles.
We have the evidence right in front of us that when we support the whole person, it really works.

I’m thankful to God for the chance to serve Dagenham and for the grace that carries us through.
