The 16th went to Lowestoft at the end of the year for a company camp holiday. Looks like the officers managed to have some down time too, Brian Bunn, Mr Smithers and Tony King!!

Unfortunately the names of the boys are unknown, but this was the opening night of 16th Thameside Boys Brigade on 8th September 1978 at Chaplin Road Baptist Church, Dagenham. The officers and helpers were, Captain Brian Bunn, Lieutenant Brenda Bunn, Colour Sergeant David Bunn (on loan from the 14th), Rev. Jim Buckley, Sandra Woollard (Sandra Anne) Mark Solosy, Diane Thorpe (Nee Bunn), Julie Nash, Susan Grace (Nee Bunn).
