Many thanks to all our supporters and participants of the very successful Open Gardens Trail and also the very well-stocked Plant Sale, the delicious Teas and Cakes and the ever-popular Tower Tours. We raised over £1000 for the All Saints Development Fund and plan to have a similar, sunnier, event next year. ☀️
All feedback is welcome and do have a look at the boards and model inside the church to see how our beautiful ancient church will benefit all residents once the changes are underway.

Some newsy bits and bobs on this wonderfully sunny St George’s Day.
Did anyone else spot the photographer from The Woodland Trust photographing the tower yew which has been nominated for yew tree of the year. The bees that usually stay in the roof have found an opening into the kitchen, so please do be careful if you go in there. And when you visit, don’t miss the blossoms on the old crabapple tree, they really are spectacular this year!

Churches Count on Nature 2026 runs at the same time as Love Your Burial Ground Week, and focuses on spotting the brilliant wildlife to be found in churchyards and church outdoor spaces. This is something EVERYONE can be part of and contributes to important citizen science research. A class from Culmstock Junior School took part last year and we all enjoyed the count.
Everyone is welcome - Saturday 6th of June to Sunday the 14th of June 2026

Nearly 80 churches and cemeteries have already registered events that they are running for Love your Burial Ground Week with Churches Count on Nature.

From Devon to Northumbria via places East and West, churches and cemeteries across the UK will be running nature counts, trails, talks and more to celebrate the wildlife to be found in these special places.
