Some Battles Can Be Avoided

Prayer is essential, but some consequences do not require another prayer meeting. They require us to respect the boundaries and instructions already given to us.

The preacher uses a familiar driving example: when we drive responsibly and respect the law, we reduce the likelihood of receiving a ticket.

In the same way, obedience and wise choices can protect us from avoidable trouble.

This does not mean that every hardship is self-inflicted. It is simply a reminder that obedience remains an important part of Christian living.
