Today is a day when brothers and sisters vow to protect each other.
According to our scriptures, today (Shravan Purnuwasi) Yam Raj has blessed Yamuna and protect her from death.
Today is also Haygriv Jayanti where Bhagwan Vishnu incarnate to save the Vedas from the demons hence we perform Upkarma.
Hence I wish all a well protected time ahead in your life.
