TMWA Trinity Mid-Whitgiftian Association for the former pupils and past and present staff of Trinity School, Croydon.

The TMWA is an independent association, dedicated to the staff and former
pupils of Trinity School, Croydon, and welcoming friends and guests into all
activities. Our object is to enable former pupils to stay in touch with each
other and with the school, through joint sporting, cultural and social events. Our headquarters are in Sanderstead, Surrey, a few miles from Trinity School, and our
members are spread throughout the world.

Incredible NYE party at the clubhouse where c100 revellers danced and dined! Live music, gourmet food and incredible positivity and fun were the order of the evening!

Thanks go to the organisers for their energy, talent and warm welcome. A fabulous family-centred event!

ALAN SEXTON 2/8/30 - 28/11/18

We are saddened to announce that former Rugby Club Captain and Past President Alan Sexton passed away on 28 November at the age of 88.

As well as captaining the club in the late 50s/60s, including the A and B XVs, Alan was Chairman of the OMWA and a governor of the Whitgift Foundation.

Alan was a National Junior 100 yard champion and also a 47 sec 440 yard runner. [You can see where his son Richard got his running speed from.] He went onto get his Blue at Cambridge and represent the Achilles club and RAF.

Richard has asked us to pass on details of his funeral which is at 11.15am on Thursday 13 December at the East Chapel at Croydon Crematorium. Afterwards at the Old Mids to raise a pint of Pride.

Bill Rymer - funeral details
Bill Rymer (1962) sadly died last week, following a heart operation. Bill was a sprinter, fast bowler and rugby player at school, and became captain of the OMW Rugby Club. He was a solicitor at a Croydon firm, and was legal adviser to the Whitgift Foundation and to the OMWA.
His funeral will take place at Croydon Crematorium on Friday 3rd November, at 12 noon, and afterwards back atthe clubhouse in Lime Meadow Avenue.
