Fr Tim was pleased to attend Fr Andrew Bishop's Licensing as the Parish Priest of Walsingham last night and was very happy to see several familiar faces in the crowds. We wish Fr Andrew and all his family every blessing as they begin their new ministry in Norfolk.

On Friday at 11am there will be a Bible Study, looking at the first three Chapters of St Luke's Gospel.

These texts tell the stories of the conception and birth of Christ. They also contain the beautiful canticles we sing at Morning and Evening Prayer and Compline: the Benedictus, the Magnificat and the Nunc Dimittis.

The Bible Study will take place in Church. It will be led by Fr Tim and our new Pastoral Assistant, Calum. We are delighted Calum is with us. Please say hello to him when you see him around!

We were really delighted to see our former Pastoral Assistant, Joe Allen, who came to help with the music for Mass at St Michael's this morning.

Joe has recently been awarded a scholarship by the Joseph Ratzinger - Benedict XVI Vatican Foundation to fund his PhD research into themes of sacrifice in Pope Benedict's Eucharistic theology. Just five such grants are awarded to scholars around the world each year.

We send our sincere congratulations to Joe on this very prestigious award and ask God's blessing on his excellent studies.

Please keep Fr Antonio in your prayers. He is in Zimbabwe, as part of a delegation of the Fellowship of St John the Evangelist, visiting the Monastery of Gweru in the centre of Zimbabwe. This week he has spoken at a conference for Sisters and Clergy at the Monastery. We ask God's blessing on them all.

Yesterday some of Fr Tim's friends and family joined us to celebrate his 30th anniversary in the priesthood.

We were also delighted that Fr Andrew Bishop came to preach at the Solemn Mass and wish him and his family well as they move to Walsingham this week.
