Update on the new season for Worship 24/7

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝟮𝟰/𝟳 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 is the new name for Burn 24/7 UK, with effect from today, 15th August 2024.

Worship 24/7 Network is a family of believers pursuing Jesus as our ‘first love.’ Worship 24/7 Communities can be found in towns and cities across the UK, and the heart of Worship 24/7 Network is first and foremost the passionate pursuit of the presence of God. We are a prophetic worship movement, celebrating creativity, committed to the unity of the church, and embracing a call to missions to share the love of God with those who don’t yet know Him.

We are excited about the future direction of Worship 24/7 Network and the opportunities to connect with many others in the UK and beyond who share our passion for hosting spaces where followers of Jesus, from every nation, tribe, people and language can come together and worship. Although no longer formally associated with Burn 24/7, we remain deeply grateful for the fires of worship that were kindled in the UK and the nations by the Burn 24/7 pioneers.

We are in a season of change, but we can say with certainty that our Father God is the constant rock who we can always rely on.

We give thanks for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, our late Queen, to has been a steady influence on our nation for the last 70 years. We also speak blessing over our new King and Prime Minister as they take the reigns.

In a similar way, I need to let everyone know that, at a Croydon Burn core team meeting last week, we concluded that Croydon Burn has run its course and will now stop. Croydon Burn was founded five years ago under the leadership of Esther King, to whom we owe honour. It has drawn together the worshippers of Croydon over the last five years and established bridges between the many worshipping communities in our borough. I also need to honour the generosity of West Croydon Baptist Church who have very kindly accommodated us over that period. Finally, I want to thank all those who have supported Croydon Burn by attending and to those musicians who have supported us in worship.
