The baptism today of ANDREW should be a wake up call for us all. Andrew attended our meetings at the Orchard Pub about 4 years ago and decided to be baptized. But life and its distractions got in the way. He is a landscape gardener and was mowing the lawns around the graves at a graveyard. He had a stroke, and fell unconscious, falling onto a grave. He awoke some time later in hospital. He initially had the feeling he had died and been resurrected... and he recalled our teaching him that baptism is about death and resurrection with the Lord Jesus. And so he decided to make baptism a priority. He was in hospital and rehab for some time, but has started attending again now that he can, and now he has been baptized. He got really quite emotional in the baptism service, feeling that really this was the Lord's hand upon him, and just so grateful that he had been given another chance to respond. You can see 20 minutes of our group chit chat with him at https://youtu.be/o3aankq1kiM . Really the Lord will keep on needling us, sending fishers and hunters to get His people to Himself. Just surrender and come eagerly to Him, make that a priority time and again in His various calls upon you...
