Have been asked to pass on this prayer request by a man from our church.
Hi all, my long-time friend Simon starts his 6-week course of radiotherapy tomorrow, in a second attempt to get rid of the brain tumour that was surgically removed 2 or 3 years ago.
He's been told the treatment will cause headaches ... so wouldn't it be wonderful if he didn't need it?!! 😊🔥🙏❤️

I would love to be able to tell him how many of us are praying for him tonight - can you ask a friend as well?! ..
and please let me know! ❤️🙏🔥

Dear God,
Help me to walk in obedience today. When temptation comes my way, remind me of Your sacrifice, Lord Jesus, and of Your perfect obedience to the Father. Strengthen me to choose what is right, even when it is difficult or uncomfortable. “Therefore be imitators of God, as dearly loved children.” (Ephesians 5:1)

Help me to imitate You in the way I think, speak, and live. Shape my heart to desire holiness and to walk in love, humility, patience, and truth. When I am weak, give me strength to resist temptation and follow Your ways above my own. Let my life reflect Your character in every decision I make today.

Dear God,
Help me to walk in forgiveness today, keeping it at the forefront of my heart. Remind me of the mercy You’ve shown me and that I have no right to withhold forgiveness from others. When bitterness or pride tries to rise up, help me to surrender it to You and respond with grace. “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:32)

Help me to love patiently, speak kindly, and walk in the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Let forgiveness flow freely from me as a reflection of Your love.

Dear God,
Help me to keep asking, keep seeking, and keep knocking on Heaven’s door. I believe that You hear me, even when I’m unsure or can’t see the answer yet. Teach me to persist in prayer and not lose heart, trusting that You are faithful and working behind the scenes. “Keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching, and you will find. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7 HCSB)

I believe that prayer is power. I won’t pray once and forget; I’ll come back again and again because I believe and I trust You. Strengthen my faith when waiting feels long and help me find peace in Your timing. You are good, and I know You hear every word I speak.

Dear God,
When I am downcast and letting the weight of life get me down, help me remember that my strength does not come from my circumstances but from You. Lift my eyes above my problems and remind me of Your faithfulness, goodness, and presence in my life. “Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10)

Fill my heart with Your joy today. When discouragement tries to settle in, help me focus on Your promises and all that You have done. Renew my spirit, strengthen my heart, and remind me that no matter what I face, You are with me and will carry me through.

Dear God,
Help me to share the greatest news, the gospel, with as many people as I can. Fill my heart with compassion for those who do not yet know You, and remind me that the message of Jesus is the hope of the world. “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

Help me to be unselfish in sharing this good news. Give me boldness to speak, wisdom to listen, and love that reflects Your heart. Let me never take for granted the gift of salvation. Use me to point people to Jesus, the One who conquered death and offers everlasting life to all who believe.

Dear God,
May Your Word change and transform me from the inside out. Let it shape my thoughts, renew my mind, and guide my every step. I want to become a living epistle for You—a reflection of Your truth and love in everything I do. “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” (James 1:22)

Help me to embody Your love and shine brightly wherever I go. I want to hear Your voice clearly and walk in obedience, going where You lead and doing what You ask of me. Make my life a testimony of Your grace and power so others may see You in me.

Dear God,
Help me to live my life in a way that is all about Your glory and not my own. Help me see life through that lens so I walk today in a way that honors and magnifies You. Help me to seek first the Kingdom of God in all that I do and keep my heart focused on what matters most. “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31)

Help me to constantly lift up Your great name and point others toward You. Give me boldness to tell people about the greatest gift ever given, the gospel of Jesus Christ. Let my life be a reflection of Your goodness and a testimony that draws people closer to You.

Dear God,
Thank You for Your true character and for showing us who You really are. Help me to believe the truth about You and not the lies, doubts, or wrong ideas that try to distort Your goodness. “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God.” (2 Corinthians 10:5) Help me hold firmly to the true knowledge of who You are.

Strengthen me to stand firm in Your goodness and faithfulness. Let my heart be rooted in the truth that You are good, loving, and trustworthy. Help me proclaim Your character to the world so others may see how wonderful and good You truly are.

Dear God,
When I’m tempted to look to the world for my identity, help me remember that my true identity is found in You. You bought my life at a price and gave everything, Lord Jesus, so that I could be restored to the Father. Thank You that my worth isn’t defined by what others think of me but by who I am in You. “You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” (1 Corinthians 6:19–20)

Help me live in that truth today—with confidence, humility, and peace. Remind me that I don’t need to earn the approval of people because I am already fully loved, accepted, and known by You.
