Stay and Play is back next week!

Christ Church Craven Arms Stay and Play is a drop in group that welcomes babies, preschool age children and their grownups.

3, Corvedale Road, Craven Arms
Wednesday 2nd September, and then every term time Wednesday
Drop in between 9.00 and 11.00am

We will have the kettle on and comfy chairs to relax in, and plenty of toys for the little ones.

Hi everyone,
On Sunday (23rd August) we are meeting for Forest Church at 4pm in the Onny Meadow (behind the Discovery Centre). The service is adult and child friendly so please come and join in. Following the service there will be toasted marshmallows and and a drink.

Eight of us went to the New W**e Festival last week. We had a brilliant time at worshiping God, thinking about the Bible and how Jesus calls us to live. We enjoyed food, friendship and lots of fun (silent discos, paint fights, water fights and the big wheel). Join us next year!

Hi everyone,
On Sunday (26th July) we are meeting for Forest Church at 4pm in the Onny Meadow (behind the Discovery Centre). The service is adult and child friendly so please come and join in. Following the service there will be toasted marshmallows and we plan to have a picnic. Come an join us and bring some picnic food to share!

Craven Arms Stay and Play group for babies, toddlers, preschool children and their grown ups will be going ahead with their Teddy Bears' picnic in Onny Meadows on Wednesday 15th July. The weather looks good, cooler in the morning and no rain!
Drop in any time between 9:00am and 11:00am with your teddy and some picnic nibbles to share. There will be signs to lead you to the field with the willow structure where we will be positioned. We will have our usual coffee and tea refreshments on tap and a gazebo for shade. Remember your sun hats and sunscreen! We are looking forward to seeing you all for teddy bear fun.

On Sunday 12th July we had our second baptism service. Beth, Christina were baptised and John and Steve reaffirmed their baptism promises. We had a brilliant time and most of us got a bit wet! Thanks to Arch Deacon Sam for helping us think about God's seeds of life and how Jesus's words of love and hope can grow in our hearts to bring real transformation and joy. God loves Craven Arms!

Hi everyone,
It's been a great year and lots of fun at the Craven Arms Play & Stay baby and toddler group. Thanks to all those who help and attend.

Next week, Wednesday 15th July, is our final session before the summer break and we are going to have a Teddy Bears picnic in the Onny Meadows behind the Discovery Centre. For details see below. Bring your little one, some picnic food to share and come and join us.

If the weather is bad, we will be in our usual venue, 3, Corvedale Rd, for an indoor picnic. We will let you know on Facebook the night before.
