A big thank you to all those who gave their time today to the garden project. Volunteers got stuck in with digging, weeding, planting, building, pruning and making refreshments to name but a few jobs.
Come and have a look, take a seat, reflect, enjoy and have a think about what you can offer in ongoing maintenance.

Have you seen how our garden is progressing?
Still work in progress but coming along. The aim is for it to progress a bit more and to make it a nice option for Sandra and Mel to take some wedding photos. With that in mind, we’re meeting on Saturday 16th May from 10am. Can you spare a few hours to help? So, what needs doing?
• Planting – we have some nice plants to go into the beds & pots.
• Mulching – to stop the weeds coming back so quickly and to make the beds look neat.
• Watering – have fun with a very long hosepipe.
• Weeding the patio – getting shot of those pesky weeds.
• Sweeping – making it look neat and tidy.
• Grass mowing – we have an electric mower so no leads to worry about.
Don’t like gardening? Are you handy with a screwdriver? We have a flatpack arbour and benches to put together.
Or perhaps you could pick up the litter that tends to blow in.
Don’t like anything on offer? Can you make tea and coffee and maybe a few sandwiches for the hungry crew?
As they say – many hands make light work!

Our church service will be at 10.30am this Sunday. The theme, led by Major Lisa, will be called to be a disciple - trusting, including the Bible verses relating to Peter walking on water.
We warmly welcome all who come through our doors, whether you have been before or not.
Stay for refreshments and a chat after the meeting and get to know us and what we do.
