After you've eaten all those pancakes, it's Ash Wednesday this week, so here's an alterenative idea to giving something up for Lent: Why not Give In Lent? Here's some ideas, pick and choose, do every day, do once a week or just add a single item to your shopping list next month. Donate at any time at usual collection points. (Chapel donation point is only available at Saturday morning coffee)

Our regular (10.00 till 12.00) coffee morning is extended to 2pm with extras! Come see the trees that decorate the church throughout the Christmas season: maybe grab a bacon butty, a Christmas jigsaw, have a go on the tombola or just meet up with friends for a cuppa.

It was a beautiful Harvest Festival we had on Sunday, the first service by our new minister, and such a great selection of donated goods which have all gone to good causes. (Local foodbank for all the tinned/dried, etc.) (Fresh vegetables to the Senior Citizen Luncheon Club) "For the fruits of His creation, Thanks be to God"
