This is the time for prayer. The dark forces of the satanic kingdom have been unleashed into our realm and the attack is real. But remember this, the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church (Matthew 16:18): so I urge you today to begin to fast an pray for peace, understanding and an end to confusion, which is a major strategy of the enemy.

God raised Our Lord Jesus from the dead, and gave Him a name that is above all other names…

Lord I lift Your Name on high, I long to sing Your praises; I’m so glad You’re in my life, so glad You came to save us. You came from heaven to earth to show the way, from the earth to the cross my debt you paid. From the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky.

Easter greetings to all. On this resurrection Sunday, set aside some time and consider Jesus who paid the price that we might be free. He became sin for our sake, He sacrificed Himself for humanity. He is our Saviour and Lord. Amen

“Jesus endured the cross for you and I. “looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Heb 12:2”

Take a moment today out of your busy schedules, and give God thanks for waking you up this morning, for providing a roof over your head, a comfortable bed to sleep in, food in your cupboards for breakfast. These are just basic things that we often times take for granted, but there are many people in this world who are not afforded even the basics that we readily have. Let us take this time now to be thankful and most grateful for what we have, and whenever the opportunity presents itself do good to others. Trust is a massive issue in this uncertain world we live in today, which political party can we trust, who can we trust to confide in, who can we trust with our finances, who can be trusted with our health and the list goes on. The author of the OT book of proverbs, and one of the wisest men that ever lived, none other than the great King Solomon said it like this (Trust in the Lord with all your heart and don’t rely on your own understanding, and in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your pathways in life) Prov 3:5-6

“It is with your heart (spirit) you are able to believe, and it is with your mouth confession is made unto salvation. Whilst it is today you have an opportunity to get saved. Don’t delay, do it today. Rm 10:10”

Immersing yourself in the Word of God right now will bring you clarity in this time of uncertainty. We need guidance more than ever right now, so switch off the news, cut down on social media activity and spend some quality time engrossed in the Word of God and arise refreshed, alert and ready.
