PRAYERS FOR OUR SCHOOLS

There will be a special hour of prayer for our local
schools this Tuesday 8th September 7.30-8.30 pm in the Church. All teachers, parents and others are warmly encouraged to join us as the new school year begins.

‘LITTLE ONES’ RE-OPENS THIS TUESDAY 8 SEPTEMBER 2026. Open every Tuesday morning 10.00-11.30 in the Church during term-time, it’s a space for parents, grandparents, carers, babies and toddlers to catch up and have fun! Hot drinks, soft play, singing, Bible story and kids snack time. £1 suggested donation. Children must be accompanied at all times. Just come along - we’d love to see you.

Please note that from 6 September 2026 we have a new service time for Parish Communion which will now be at the slightly earlier time of 9am. This will be followed by our Contemporary Service at the usual time of 10.45am. Coffee in between services. We would love you to join us!

‘Porridge Pot’ Garden Party

Tomorrow, August Bank Holiday Monday - 31st August from 11am to 5pm is the annual Garden Party for ‘The Porridge Pot’. Do come and join us at 9 Placehouse Lane. Craft and gift stalls, including Ugandan beads and crafts, a plant stall, a tombola, a raffle and refreshments. We may even have a Shuffleboard competition!! Tea, cakes and cream scones. Entry and refreshments are free but we do welcome donations to help feed the children in The Children’s Alpha Ministry School near Kasese in Uganda. Do come and bring your friends.
