St. Michael's Church & Myland Parish Halls Welcome to the Page of St. Michael's Church and Myland Parish Halls. We are a busy Community Centre located in the heart of Myland.

Our halls are very popular with several
groups and clubs. We have many regular
slots taken throughout the week,
but bookings subject to availability
are always welcome. Weekends are often free for children's or
afternoon parties and community events. Unfortunately the halls are not available

For those children experiencing a new school or setting this week. Lord, bless them.

For those who are returning to school. Lord, bless them.

For the educators and school support staff returning for a new school year. Lord, bless them.

For those parents and carers full of different emotions at seeing those they love head off to school. Lord, bless them.

For those who aren't returning to mainstream education for whatever reason. Lord, bless them.

For our local schools, Braiswick Primary, Camulous Academy, Myland Primary, Queen Boudica and The Trinity School. Lord, bless them.

For the many Early Years and wrap around care settings. Lord, bless them.

For those preparing to go/return to University. Lord, bless them.

For everyone entering a new season this month. Lord, bless them.

This Sunday morning we have a baptism service here at Church. Where we will welcome a new member into the family of the worldwide church. 🎉

It'll be my first baptism here at St Michael's Church and I'm more than a little excited. As I stood at our font today I wondered just how many have been baptised here over the years .... and who might God be calling to baptism here next? 😉

Well it's taken me a minute but Hello Myland 👋

I'm Rev'd Janine Wilde (just Janine will do) and I took up the post as Priest in Charge with St. Michael's Church & Myland Parish Halls about 6 weeks ago to work alongside Rev'd Hazel and Rev'd John too.

If you see me out and about please do come and say hello. Having lived in Myland for all but the last 3 of 25 years it's great to be back to serve the community of Myland.

I'll be keeping this page updated with thoughts on life, faith and with all that is going on and coming up in the life of St Michael's Church. You'd always be welcome to join us.
