Hello! We are so excited to launch our May half term HOPE trail. There will be 10 stations to find around Half Penny Meadows. Trail will start at the Play Park, with a QR map available to help your search. We hope you have lots of fun creating memories as you search for the posters. The trail will go up on Friday 22nd May and will stay up until Sunday 31st May.

Last week we chatted to lots of wonderful parents whilst at Castlewood Spring Fayre and gave out flyers for our next family event.
TOMORROW straight after school, come join us at St James' Church for our monthly family event called Popcorn. Crafts, activities, a Bible story and snacks for you and your primary aged children to enjoy. We'd love to see you there.

The countdown is officially on for our Community Spring Fayre at Castlewood Care Home! We are so excited to welcome you all next Friday, 8th May, from 12pm to 4pm.

We’ve been busy behind the scenes making sure there is something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you're coming for the competitive games or just for a browse, we’ve got you covered:

🍰 Stalls: Come and find a hidden treasure or a handmade treat.
🎼 Food & Music: Grab a bite and enjoy the tunes while you soak up the atmosphere.

Entry is FREE, and the best part? All proceeds from the day will be donated to Age UK, supporting a cause very close to our hearts.

The news we didn't want to share, but we have made the really difficult decision to CANCEL our Palm Sunday event around the Oak Tree. We want this to be a fun, safe, joyful occasion for everyone (and the donkeys) and the weather conditions don't allow for this. Look out for upcoming posts as we try and find opportunities for our wonderful crafts to be completed.

THIS SUNDAY. 2 DAYS TIME.
The donkeys (Buzz and Woody) can't wait to meet you! 🫏 🫏
Come explore the story of Palm Sunday with activities, crafts and donkeys. Start time is 2:30pm at the playground and will end around 3:15pm. Aimed at primary aged children and their families but ALL are welcome to come join this community event. Wrap up for the weather (wellies may be needed).

Put on by St James' Church for the residents of Half Penny Meadows.

Come join us next Sunday to explore the story of Palm Sunday through activities, crafts and a very special visit from a donkey! 🫏 ❤️
Join us at 2:30pm at the playground- children must be accompanied by an adult- and let's have fun together. Please wear suitable clothing- a bit of rain won't stop us!!
