31ST MARCH 2026 BCP SERVICE AT ST LUKE’S

TODAY, TUESDAY 31St MARCH, IS TUESDAY OF HOLY WEEK.
IT IS ALSO KNOWN AS FIG TUESDAY AND THE DAY JESUS RETURNED TO BETHANY. HOLY WEEK IS A PERIOD FOR SELF EXAMINATION AND REFLECTION ON JESUS’ SUFFERING & SACRIFICE AND IS PREPARATION FOR EASTER, THE CULMINATION OF THE CHRISTIAN JOURNEY TOWARDS THE CELEBRATION OF VICTORY OVER SIN AND DEATH.
AT ST LUKE’S CHURCH THERE WILL BE A 5.00 PM BCP (Book of Common Prayer) COMMUNION SERVICE. EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO JOIN US.

Please note there will be no morning service at St Luke’s (other morning services available within the Benefice churches). We will however be having a celebration mass for Rev Hannah Moore in recognition of her ordination as Priest. This will be at 6.00 pm for 6.30.

Easter Day - All welcome to join us in celebration of Easter Day at our 11.00 am service.
Following the service we will be making the draw for our Easter Hamper and runner up prizes of Easter Eggs.

SUNDAY 6TH APRIL - All welcome to join us for our 11.00 am Parish Mass.
Following the service refreshments will be available. This is also an opportunity to buy a ticket for our Easter Food Hamper, tickets for which are £1 per strip. There are also runner up prizes of Easter Eggs. The proceeds are to go to the church building fund.for repairs and disabled access. Also the new toilet is at long last open so if you are curious come along just after 12.00 pm!
