🌺 Remembrance Parade & Service – Sunday 9 November 2025 🌺

The Town Mayor, Councillor Alan Jewell, invites everyone to take part in Falmouth’s Remembrance Parade and Service this Sunday, 9 November, at Kimberley Park.

🕥 Timetable:
10.25am – Parade assembles on The Moor
10.35am – Parade departs The Moor for Kimberley Park
10.45am – Service at the War Memorial
11.00am – Two-minute silence and wreath laying
11.30am – Parade departs Kimberley Park for the return to The Moor for a march past and salute by the Town Mayor
11.35am – Parade disperses

This Sunday, 19 October, everyone is welcome at Falmouth Parish Church King Charles the Martyr for the Civic Service of Town Mayor Councillor Alan Jewell. The service will welcome civic leaders from Falmouth and across the county.

A parade, led by Pendennis Brass Band, will set off from the Moor at around 10.40am, making its way to the church where the service will begin at 11am. Following the service, the parade will reform and return to the Moor.

Please note that road closures will be in place from 10am to 1pm. Streets will reopen during the service and again once the parade has returned to the Moor.

Harvest Festival at KCM.

Today's service was with Falmouth Methodist Church and featured readings from both congregations.

Many thanks to all the ladies from KCM and FMC for decorating the church so beautifully.

After the service the congregation enjoyed a pasty and delicious selection of puddings! 😋 🍰 💐 🌺

The next service at KCM will be on Sunday, September 21, with the Archdeacon of Cornwall, Clive Hogger.

A sung Eucharist for Holy Cross Sunday, September 14, saw parishioners at KCM Falmouth Parish Church taking part in a number of hymns and readings.

From listening to those in need, helping the vulnerable, and calming tensions, to clearing broken glass and offering a friendly presence — volunteers play a crucial role in making nights safer and more caring for everyone.

Each shift brings opportunities for meaningful conversations and real impact. Door staff and the wider community regularly express their appreciation. Volunteers also enjoy warm tea breaks at Fairwinds and the chance to connect with others who care.
