Following the serious incident on Friar Gate last night Derby Cathedral will be open for prayer and the lighting of candles this afternoon until 7.30pm this evening. All are welcome to join the Cathedral community in a prayer vigil for those injured, those supporting them and those who witnessed the incident, and we will pray for the peace of our city of Derby.

At 5.15pm there is a choral performance of Stainer's Crucifixion which will last an hour and all are welcome to join us for this famous meditation for the beginning of Holy Week as well as light a candle for peace.
