What a lovely day for our Rogationtide ramble today.There were nearly as many dogs in attendance as people, and they had a great time too! We started off with prayers and thanks for the gift of water at the Holy well, then on to the churchyard, before progressing to Shobrooke park and then a leisurely meander through country lanes and fields before our final stop for refreshment at The Red Lion Inn .

Our next service is the second agriculture festival of the year Rogation! Traditionally the bounds of the parish were walked, but Shobrooke is a very large Parish so it will be a reduced walk, ending at The Red Lion Inn for some welcome refreshment. Please join us for all or any part of the service and walk.

A large group joined for the Palm Sunday procession this morning followed by Holy communion.

As the end of lent approaches we look forward to celebrating Easter. Our Palm Sunday service on 29th March. We meet at the village war memorial at 10.45am to process to the church, complete with surrogate donkey ( a pony) . You are welcome to join the procession or attend the church service,or ideally come to both!



The posies are ready for Mothering Sunday tomorrow. We look forward to seeing you at 11 am .
