Another lovely review, from the lovely Carol Bax, a fantastic carer herself and an inspiration to me.

My name is Carol and I have worked with Dawn professionally and known her personally for over 12 years. Dawn is a kind, compassionate, dedicated Carer who always goes the extra mile for her clients. Her wonderful personality and demeanor immediately puts people at ease, and I have known Dawn bring peace to very anxious people very quickly. I have no hesitation in recommending Dawn as a Carer.

This one song, has been a favourite of three very special clients. Each suffering from Alzheimer's and non verbal. One lovely client Joan would sing "Ain't she sweet see her walking down the street, I ask you very confidentially, ain't she sweet! " This was our only communication, a few lines of a song, but they were special, beautiful moments.
5 years later, walking with another, non verbal client, I sang those few lines, and she joined in with a few more lines.
" Ain't she nice, look her over once or twice, I ask you very confidentially, ain't she nice."
What joy, an old familiar song can bring! Daily I share this song with a new client, and watch her face light up, and my heart leaps a little when she joins in. These are the precious moments to treasure in care, especially with clients with dementia, music brings moments of recognition and joy. 🙌
I am putting together a playlist of songs my client loves and responds to, and I am learning songs I never knew. Our language, a song and a smile 🙌🥰

I just received this lovely review from a precious clients daughter. I often did a few days live-in care so that she could get away for a few days for a well deserved break.
Mo, is not on Facebook so she kindly wrote a review for me to post. 🥰

Dawn was an excellent carer for my mum Sylvia who had Alzeimers.
Dawn was attentive and kind, putting mum at ease, diligent with her mobility, hygiene and medication regime.
I confidently went away for a few days and when I returned all was calm and organised. Mum was content and I was very pleased.

I chose the name for my business in collaboration with one of my clients, who is a very dear and special friend, as so many of my clients become.
" Completely Cared For,"
The goal is excellence in care, and for my clients to feel completely cared for.
It is so important, in fact I can't think of a more important work, than caring for others, and for those most in need of kindness, compassion, practical help, and understanding.

Just coming to the end of two weeks, live in respite care for this lovely lady. I can truly say, I have been blessed to be a blessing.
"Christ Centered Care," is all about keeping Christ in the centre of everything. For me the care goes deeper. I don't just do my best, I pray in the tough times, in the challenging times for myself for strength and gentleness. For the grace to give when I'm running on empty.
I pray for more strength, grace, kindness, love and compassion from the abundant and never ending supply of my precious Redeemer.
I pray for my client, to feel blessed, seen, cared for, encouraged and understood. And even for them to sleep well and be free from pain. On this assignment I have had the pleasure of praying with my client, which has been comforting and strengthening for us both. In this World where so many awful things are happening, I do pray for personal efficacy, to be a light, a helper, an encourager and to ensure that my client feels "Completely Cared For."
