On Easter Day at 9:30am, we have a very special guest joining us — the Easter Bunny will be helping with our Easter egg hunt, so it’s a great service for all ages!

8.00am – Said Eucharist
A quiet, reflective service to start the day.

9.30am – All Age Breakfast Service
A relaxed service for all ages with breakfast together, great for families and anyone who enjoys an informal start to Sunday.

11.15am – Choral Matins
A traditional service with beautiful choral music and space for reflection.

Mothering Sunday is a special day when we give thanks for the love and care we have received in our lives.

At church, we celebrate not only mothers, but all those who have nurtured, supported, guided, and cared for others; mums, grandmothers, step-mums, carers, fathers, friends, neighbours, and anyone who has shown us kindness along the way.

We also recognise that this day can bring many different feelings. Some are celebrating, some are remembering, and some may find the day difficult. Wherever you are coming from, you are welcome.

Join us as we give thanks for love, care, and the people who have shaped our lives. Everyone is welcome.

Family Fun Chislehurst Easter Trail Booklets Available! 🐣

Pick up your Chislehurst Easter Trail booklet from Monday morning at either

• St Nicks Parish Office (Village Hall) 9am-1pm
• Chislehurst Society (Old Chapel)

Booklets are £5, and every completed trail wins a prize! All money raised will go towards supporting the Village Hall for All.

Early bird booklets will also be available this Sunday at the St Nicks Mother’s Day Service, 9.30am in the Village Hall.

What a wonderful day we had at St Nick’s!

Our 8am service continues to grow, which is such an encouragement as we gather early to pray, reflect, and start the day with God. By the time we reached our main service the church was full of people of all ages – a real joy to see our community coming together to worship.

Revd Rachel spoke about developing our relationship with Christ through the story of the woman at the well, reminding us that Jesus offers the water of life that truly satisfies. It was a powerful reminder that when we come to him, he meets us where we are and gives us what we need most.

In Junior Church, the children explored how much Jesus loves them and talked about the people they love too – a beautiful reminder of the simple and profound truth at the heart of our faith.

Then in the afternoon, more than 30 families joined us for a special service celebrating baptisms at St Nick’s. Afterwards we gathered in the hall where our wonderful Mothers’ Union provided tea and cake, giving everyone a chance to chat, celebrate, and enjoy time together.

All in all, it was a perfect day at St Nick’s – full of worship, community, laughter, and the joy of seeing people of all ages growing in faith together.

We are really looking forward to seeing you this weekend. Whether it’s your first time or you’ve been many times before, come and join us and discover why church means so much to so many of us.

At St Nicks, everyone is welcome. You don’t need to dress a certain way, know what to say, or have everything figured out, just come as you are. We’re a community of ordinary people learning, worshipping, and supporting one another as we explore faith together, and you are always welcome.

Huge congratulations to the 11 candidates from St Nicks who were confirmed today by Bishop Simon!

What a joyful and significant moment, publicly affirming your faith and saying “yes” to the promises made at your baptism. We are so proud of each of you.

The candidates were prepared and presented by Revd Rachel, who journeyed with them in learning, reflection and prayer as they got ready for this important step.

May this be just the beginning of a deeper walk with Christ, filled with courage, joy and the strengthening power of the Holy Spirit.
