Regenerate began life as a team of people from the churches in Yate and Chipping Sodbury going into Primary Schools to take assemblies/collective worship. Over the years the work has grown and Regenerate evolved into a charity in its own right supported and represented by the churches across Yate and Chipping Sodbury. 2. To empower children and young people to overcome obstacles in their lives
The work includes student mentoring, Christian assemblies in 13 Primary Schools each term, small group-work, as well as RE work and workshops and Advent and Christmas themed events. The work is resourced almost solely by a small team of dedicated volunteers and a team leader.
