As we enter this New Year and challenge and perhaps disappointment still lingers, let’s choose to remember all that God has done for us! This is a journey with winding paths, valleys and mountains - each day an opportunity to connect with our God.
It’s time to be intentional, to take note of who we let influence our hearts and minds, to choose to follow Jesus and even when we stumble and fall, know that we are IN Christ and he is not distant but close.

We are becoming. How does God change us? It says in Romans 8 that God’s spirit beckons us. In some translations it says His spirit leads us.
Ephesians 3 in the Message version says, “God can do anything, you know - far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, His spirit deeply and gently within us.”

Romans 8 says, “With the arrival of Jesus, the Messiah, that fateful dilemma is resolved. Those who enter into Christ’s being-here-for-us no longer have to live under a continuous, low-lying black cloud. A new power is in operation. The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death.”
That’s what this year is all about! What are we becoming? Who do you want to become? We can’t wait to journey with you, to experience more of God together, to know God’s spirit working in your life, in the ups the downs and all the in between.

Super excited for this terms plan for Life Groups on Thursdays! Every first session of the month we’ll be having a You Belong Here Thursday. This is a chance to hang out in our small groups, have some snacks and play some games! Fingers crossed we can still meet safely in the building for all these sessions and we’ll do our best to keep it safe for everyone.
