There is a constant temptation to feel self-reliant in light of our home comforts, healthy bank account and relative good health, beware of pride. When these things begin to crumble and fail, beware of anxiety and fear. Recognise that any provision and strength we have is only a gift and is granted by the hand of our kind God. Let us guard our hearts from pride and abandon our anxieties on Him, because He CARES! We are not in control! God is!
1Pet5:6-7. H͟u͟m͟b͟l͟e͟ yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
