St Marks Downham

St Marks Downham A small and friendly Church of England church for North Downham It is a small church on the edge of the last remaining 'prefab' estate in the country.

St Mark's is one of four churches in the Catford (Southend) and Downham Team. This is in the process of being redeveloped. It is a 'Fair Trade' Church, using fairly traded products for refreshments, and Fair Trade w**e for Communion. It also promotes Fair Trade fortnight. Vicar is Revd Nick Walsh who is also Vicar of St Luke's, one of the other Team Churches.

Hi everyone, just a quick reminder that we have our Wednesday evening service today (2nd September) at 7pm. This service is an informal service with a Bible study and some music, ending with Compline (Night Prayer).

This evening will be led by Rev. Nick and we will be looking at the subject of miracles
