St Marks Downham

St Marks Downham A small and friendly Church of England church for North Downham It is a small church on the edge of the last remaining 'prefab' estate in the country.

St Mark's is one of four churches in the Catford (Southend) and Downham Team. This is in the process of being redeveloped. It is a 'Fair Trade' Church, using fairly traded products for refreshments, and Fair Trade wine for Communion. It also promotes Fair Trade fortnight. Vicar is Revd Nick Walsh who is also Vicar of St Luke's, one of the other Team Churches.
