This Sunday we bring Shoeboxes that we have filled with Christmas goodies for the children supported by and known by Cry in the Dark, a charity that works to support children and young people living in Romania and Ukraine. The shoeboxes will begin their journey across Europe to arrive in Romania in time for Christmas. Do join us along with many other local Churches Together in Carshalton who support the work of Cry in the Dark.

Some of us visited Southwark Cathedral Southwark Cathedral over September to see Threads through the Cross. It is a beautiful piece of work by Jacqui Parkinson, which helps communicate the message of Jesus in a new way. Currently being displayed in Lichfield Cathedral until 23rd October.

Good Shepherd, Carshalton, is one of the Parishes in the Sutton Deanery, meeting throughout the week and on Sundays. Praying for the local area and it's people. Seeking to notice the Father, Son and Holy Spirit underpinning ordinary, everyday lives.

Finding the way through grief of any kind can take a lifetime. Taking time to hear the name of the person who's name may not be spoken very often can be a beautiful opportunity. Sunday November 1st gives an opportunity to come along in the afternoon to a service remembering those we have loved. A beautiful opportunity to light a candle and share space with others who are walking the path of grief.
