On Saturday we had our annual mens 5aside tournament at Lancaster University. It was a fantastic afternoon with 12 teams taking part from as far away as Liverpool in the south and Ulverston in the North! After some very close games, the semi finalists were Parr Street (Kendal), Caton, Flying Without Ings (Bentham) and Hope FC (Lancaster). In the final Parr Street raced into a 2-0 lead, only to be finally beaten 4-3 by the winners, Flying Without Ings!
A big thank you to Dave Sharples from the4points.com who came and shared the Gospel message with around 120 people! Thank you to everyone who played or supported!

What a brilliant time we had at Caton S&N School last week! Almost 90 children came along for a week full of fun, football, netball, and faith. It has been wonderful to share with the children and look at some of life's big questions.
We had an amazing day on Saturday as parents and families came along to support, and it was great to see the school hall full on Sunday morning as we held our awards service.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the week possible! Praise God for the beautiful weather, many answered prayers, and for children giving their lives to Jesus!

What a great night we had last Wednesday at our Sponsored 3hr Mixed Netball! A huge thank you to everyone who came and played, and all those who sponsored; it was amazing to have 13 teams entered! Thank you to the umpires who volunteered to officiate and for everyone who came along to support!
We're so thankful for all the funds raised to go towards our Sponsored School in Kenya, it's a huge blessing! Thank you!

We are so thankful to the Lord for the team that He brought together for this year's Austria Tour. It didn't look like it was going to happen at one point, but on the day we were about to cancel, the Lord brought the team together - and we're so glad He did! What a blessed week it was!
We had some precious sharing times of devotions and testimonies, as well as being able to join the students at Tauernhof Bible School for lectures most days. Thank you to David Hines for his lectures and reminding us of our identity in Christ and all that we have in Him.
Praise the Lord for all those reached with the gospel, and may He water the seed that has been sown.

SportsReach Austria Tour games 4, 5 + 6!
Straight after our game and sharing time at Bad Aussee, we jumped in the van and headed to Mitterberg for our next match! And what a great game it was, followed by a wonderful time of fellowship and sharing afterwards. The club house was buzzing with conversation as we shared one to one with the team.
The next day took us to Grobming to play against our good friends there. Another great game and sharing time after.
And on Thursday we travelled to Salzburg to play our final game against a refugee team. Another great friendly match! Some competitive football played in a good atmosphere, and even better sharing times after. Thank you to all the teams for the great play and kind hospitality. What a joy to play for Christ in such a beautiful place! After the matches, it was a joy to be able to give out New Testaments and other literature, all pointing to our Saviour Jesus.
We praise the Lord for giving us the strength to play 6 games in 5 days, and for all the amazing conversations had with the teams!

What an amazing tour to Austria!
It was so good to be back at Tauernhof and the Dachstein Valley for another week of football outreach, fellowship, and faith. We had a great first game against the Bible School Students at Tauernhof. The whole student body came out to support! It was wonderful to be able to share with the students what we were going to be doing over our week there and to encourage them that they can use whatever they're passionate about as a vehicle to share the good news of Jesus.
Our second and third games saw us against our good friends at Rohrmoos and Bad Aussee. Both great games of football followed by even better times of sharing and fellowship afterwards. What a joy to share the message of Jesus in the beauty of His creation!

What a great night we had on Wednesday at our Netball League Cup/Plate semi-finals and finals! Lots of great netball played over the night, and great messages shared.
Congratulations to our Cup Winners 2026 - TopCats, and our Runners Up - Bleasdale Beacons. And to our Plate Winners 2026 - Fulwood Swallows, and Runners Up - Quernmore Jets.
Thank you to everyone involved, for all the teams who entered, and to everyone who has supported. We thank God for another great season and cup, and for the amazing opportunity we've had each week to play netball and share the good news of Jesus with each team.
