Looking forward to the open day next week

📍 St Illtyd’s Church, Newcastle Hill
📅 Saturday 19th September 10am-4pm
Come along and discover the beauty, history and community of our local churches!

🗺️ How many churches can you visit?
We are taking part in the church trail, visit all 7 churches in our Ministry Area collect a stickers at each church you visit, and see how many you can discover! ✨

At St Illtyd’s Church, there will be plenty to enjoy:

🔔 Bell Ringing – 10am -Hear our bells ringing out and discover more about this wonderful tradition.

💐 Flower Arranging Demonstrations Come and admire the beautiful floral displays.

🎶 Organ Recital – 3pm -Enjoy the wonderful sound of our organ in a special afternoon recital.

☕ Refreshments -Take a break, enjoy a cuppa and some refreshments, and soak up the friendly atmosphere.

Whether you’re interested in history, music, architecture, flowers, or simply fancy a lovely day out, everyone is welcome!

🎉 Don’t miss our historic local churches open day! 🎉

Saturday 19th September, we are opening our church doors from 10am–4pm, and welcoming visitors from across the town and county - how many can you visit?

There’s so much happening throughout the day, including:

🔔 bell ringing,
👀 guided tours,
🏰 historical talks and displays,
🎶 live music,
🌺 flower demonstrations,
👶 activities and
☕️ refreshments.

⭐ There’s a challenge too – collect an e-sticker from each church and complete the full set to win a prize!

👏 A fantastic opportunity to step inside some of our historic local churches, learn more about their stories and enjoy everything they have planned for the day.
