Call for Volunteers at INQUA Congress 2019

https://www.eiseverywhere.com/ereg/index.php?eventid=384343&

From Pete Coxon

i) We need volunteers for either the full congress, the first three days or the second three days. A volunteer induction will be done on Wednesday, 24th July in the CCD.

ii) Volunteers will be provided with a branded t-shirt which should be worn onsite, tea/coffee breaks and lunches. Parking, travel, accommodation etc. are all at the volunteerΒΉs own expense so it would be more suitable to those living in Dublin or those who have access to accommodation in Dublin.

iii) We consider volunteers an integral part of our on-site team. Volunteers are assigned responsible roles which are essential to the professional delivery of the congress. As such, as volunteers will rarely have the opportunity to attend conference sessions, this position is not suitable for anyone wishing to attend sessions at the congress. We do our best to allow volunteers attend plenary sessions, poster sessions and any other networking opportunities which run when parallel meeting rooms are not in session and/or registration areas are not otherwise busy, but in general, volunteers work at the congress but do not attend the congress sessions.

Welcome to the annual Institute of Physics in Ireland Spring Meeting. Our theme this year is A Climate of Change and will be exploring both the physics of climate change and our response to it. It will be an enjoyable day of talks, exhibitions and social activities. It also includes the Rosse Medal....

The EPA has published the EPA Research Report 266: Ground-based Remote-sensing Synergy for Cloud Properties and Aerosol-Cloud Interactions. Clouds and aerosols play an important part in climate processes; however, their interactions are not well understood. To study the effect of both natural marine and anthropogenic aerosols on clouds and cloud optical properties, this Research Fellowship looked at a mix of information from remote-sensing and in situ instruments from more than 6 years
