Antioch Network Manchester

Antioch Network Manchester Small church planting rooted in communities. Spreading the gospel, seeing the broken healed, captives freed.

A Bishop's Mission Order within the
Anglican Antioch is an Anglican Church Planting initiative based exclusively in the Diocese of Manchester. Antioch's vision is to make disciples by multiplying churches, and we tend to do this in ethnically diverse communities as well as on housing estates in Salford, Manchester, Rochdale and Bolton. We have 2 ordained clergy overseeing the E

states and Diverse sides of our ministry, with mostly-lay leaders leading our network churches. We aim to plant at least 16 churches by 2026, with 10 already live at the time of writing. We also run a church plant training course called REAP, which is for current and future leaders and planting team members. To see how we relate to the wider Diocese, including Parishes, or to find out about other partners and activities, please go to www.antiochnetwork.org.uk/about

Last month, 172 people from across the Antioch Network came to our annual Weekend Away which was held at the Quinta Christian Retreat Centre in Shropshire.

As well as lots of fun with camp fires and marshmallows, games and sports, lots of those who attended have met with God in powerful ways, so we praise God for moving as He did.

More stories and photos are to follow, but for now, thanks to everyone who made this possible, including
>> Our brilliant Quinta planning team: you know who you are!
>> Emma and Amelia from The Diocese of Manchester "Places Project", who led our youth sessions
>> Everyone who donated towards the costs of the Weekend
>> Our own Greg Sharples, Clergy Lead for Antioch, who was the main speaker at the weekend.

Please pray especially for Rev Greg Sharples, (pictured below right) our new Clergy Lead, who is our keynote speaker this weekend
