Burscough Panto We host the fabulous annual family Burscough Methodist Players Pantomime plus fun fundraising events for the local community throughout the year!

Weekly rehearsals commence each September for the end of January opening performance.

🌱✨ Woahhhh where did the summer go 😲

Kids are back at school so that can only mean one thing!
Yes that's right... today is D-day. This evening Jack and the Beans Talk rehearsals kick off… and yes, you read that right.

BEANS TALK. 🫘🎤
Not Beanstalk.
Not Beans Walk.
Not Jack and the Giant Vegetable Situation.

JACK AND THE BEANS TALK. 😜
And frankly… we’ve got a LOT to say about it.
Who’s excited?
Because we’re currently buzzing like a pantomime cast who’ve just discovered they’re allowed to make their own sound effects. 🎭

Costumes? Nearly sorted. (Define “nearly”.)
Lines? Mostly learned. (Define “mostly”.)
Songs? Being sung. Loudly.
Dance moves? Questionable.
Chaos? Absolutely guaranteed. 💥

Expect beans, banter, baddies, belly laughs and more panto nonsense than you can shake a magic bean at 🌱✨

Rehearsals start this Friday, yes.... tomorrow and we cannot WAIT to get this little lot on stage.

So buckle up, get ready for some serious bean-based business, and stay tuned for behind-the-scenes shenanigans, sneak peeks, ticket news and plenty more as we countdown to showtime!

🚨 OH YES IT IS... TIME FOR THE BIG REVEAL! 🚨

After another incredible sell-out year (thank you all! ❤️), we're delighted to announce our 2027 Church Pantomime...

🌱 JACK AND THE BEANS-TALK! 🌱

Yes... you read that correctly! 😏

A traditional pantomime... with a twist or two, or several 🤪.
Expect plenty of laughs, outrageous characters, terrible puns, cheeky innuendo that flies straight over the kids' heads (mostly! 😉), and absolutely no swearing - just good old-fashioned family fun.

As always... expect the unexpected! 😲

So warm up those vocal cords, dust off your "He's behind you!" shout, and get ready for another unforgettable adventure...

✨ Well... what can we say? What an absolutely FANTASTIC evening we had last night at the Stanley Club! ✨
We are very humbled to announce that the grand total raised was £2510! 🎉
A whopping £837 raised for EACH of the 3 projects:
Burscough Methodist Church Hall restoration.
Stanley Cinema Project.
OPC Kitchen Restoration.

From the moment the music started to the very last song, the dance floor was buzzing.
Set one brought the perfect mix of live ballads for those who wanted to sit back, sing along, and soak up the atmosphere.
Then... we turned things up a notch! 🕺💃

Set two was a full-on, live "dance-your-socks-off" party, and you certainly didn't disappoint! Looking around the room and seeing everyone dancing, laughing, singing at the top of their lungs and partying their little hearts out was something really special 💝

A huge welcome and thank you to everyone who came to see us for the very first time!
We hope you had an amazing evening and that you'll be back to join us again at future events!

These evenings simply wouldn't be possible without your incredible support. Every ticket bought, every raffle ticket purchased, every drink shared with friends and every pair of dancing feet has helped raise money for 3 fantastic local causes.

Finally, thank you to everyone who came along, donated, volunteered, helped behind the scenes, and made the evening such a huge success. You helped create an unforgettable night filled with music, laughter, friendship and plenty of questionable dance moves! ❤️
