We are in bloom! Do come and enjoy the daffodils in the churchyard whilst you can. We have two services tomorrow morning at 8.45 and 10.45 and we are continuing our exploration of encounters with Jesus, this time with the woman with the jar of ointment.

Photo was taken on Thursday when it felt like actual Spring. (Although every gardener knows that was fake spring and we are now in second winter πŸ™„πŸ€).

Months of work from Buckhurst Hill Mother's Union, Noah's Ark Knit and Natter group and friends and family of St Johns's have created this wonderful Remembrance display.

Everyone of these poppies is handmade and then hand tied to the netting. We finished it together in Church in a final push to get it made on time.

Our Remembrance Sunday service will be on Sunday 9th November at 10.45 am. We will remember them.

Harvest 2025! What a great weekend.

On Saturday we welcomed back the fabulous to provide the soundtrack to our Hoolie. Great fun trying, and not always succeeding to master the steps. Did anyone get the 'sweetie wrapper' right?!

Our Sunday all age service was led by Laurence on the theme of generosity. A huge thank you to you for your Harvest donations which have already gone to .

Great to see you all!

And so it goes at Church. This week Ian starts a new series focusing on the biblical stories of encounters with God. These stories from the Old Testament are known as Theophanies.

Join us at 8.45, 10.45 or 7pm. You are welcome at St John's whether it is a fresh start or a weekly ritual!
