Bell-ringing practice at 7.30pm (every Monday)

Midweek Service: Morning Prayer at 10am followed by coffee & chat
Friends in Deed Community Cafe 2.30pm to 4pm

Friday 11 September
Daily office: Morning Prayer at 9am (every Friday)
Angel Voices (informal choir) rehearse 7pm (every Friday). Newcomers always welcome.

Saturday 12 September
Cleaning Crew at 10am (monthly on the second Saturday)
Wedding of Helen and Li at 2pm

Sunday 13 September
Holy Communion at 11am
Baptism of Aria at 2pm
Evensong at 6pm

Our sister church, All Saints in Offord Cluny, has a service of Holy Communion at 9.30am.

At a time that should be about summer holidays and festivals, the past week seems to have been one of huge mourning.
Worldwide:
For the people of Nepal where floods have left over 900 dead and thousands missing
Closer to home:
Following a tragic accident at Big Church Festival, Pastor Robert Guanco who died, his family and friends, those injured, those who witnessed the accident, the organisers, volunteers, performers and festival-goers.
In our own church we prepare for the funerals of beloved and valued members of our community past and present: Betty Mackintosh, Ann Scott, Denise Bentley

Please include these and all grieving communities and individuals in your prayers this week. Give thanks for the helpers - aid workers, emergency services, and those supporting one another in their grief.
