In response to this outragous incident, Friends in Quaker Support for Climate Action have organised a Meeting for Worship outside Scotland Yard on Thursday 3 April.

Meeting point is Chindit Memorial, Embankment Gardens at 11.45am before moving to New Scotland Yard from 12-1pm for the Meeting for Worship.

"I don't think the British public wants to see people being dragged out of places of worship when they're sitting peacefully sharing their concerns about climate breakdown and the Middle East" - the outpouring of support and outrage over the aggressive police raid on Westminster Quaker Meeting House suggests Paul Parker is onto something. We call on Home Secretary Yvette Cooper to repeal parts of the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022 and the entirety of the Public Order Act 2023 to prevent this police over-reach.

Address

Friends Meeting House, 46 Ravensbourne Road
Bromley
