On 17th of Feb 2024, we celebrated the first 5 years of my pastoral ministry at Vision Church. If there’s one thing I’ve had to learn, that was to Guard My Heart.

The approach to this sermon is neither as a victim nor as a hero. I am preaching this as someone who’s learned and continues to learn to be a guardian of his own heart.

That’s my wife!

- Proverbs 26:5 “God is within her.” That’s my wife!

- Proverbs 11:16 “A kindhearted woman gains honour” That’s my wife!

- Proverbs 31:17 “She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks.” That’s my wife!

- Proverbs 14:1 “The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.” My wife is a wise woman!

- Proverbs 21:9 “Better to live on a corner of the roof than share a house with a quarrelsome wife.”
There is no one in this world I’d share my house and indeed my very heart with, than my loving wife!

1Timothy 2:9-10 “I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes,
10 but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God.”
My wife is dressed with good deeds that worship God. And yes, she has great taste in clothing as well anyway.

Godly, beautiful, kindhearted, strong! That’s my wife!
