Spring Equinox

You are invited to attend the Spring Equinox celebration in the garden at Heather Lodge on Sunday 22nd March at 2pm.
Everyone is welcome.
Please bring some food to share and possibly a poem/story/song related to Spring.
There is no charge but donations are welcome to cover the hire of the space.
The main part of the celebration will be fluid this time, with various activities connected with this time of the year.
If there is an activity you would like to share with us please do. This could include seed planting, a prayer or blessing, or acknowledging a new beginning or project. Symbols you might include are eggs, the hare, the sun and moon.
You can participate as much or as little as you wish.
This event is hosted by the Druids of Arran but it is open to people of all faiths or none.
The celebration will last for 1-2 hours and will be followed by shared food and a chance to socialise.

Beltane Ceremony 27th April start at 2pm at Heather Lodge

Beltane is fast approaching! Please let me know if you plan to attend and if so if you would like a speaking part. Beltane is perhaps the most colourful of the ceremonies, full of fires of passion and celebrating the joys of early summer. Please feel free to wear flowers in your hair (headdresses available at Spirit Within), red, or flowery clothing. We hope to do some maypole dancing, not fast, as we’re still learning. Again please let me know if you want to have a try.
Also, we can offer vow renewals with broomstick jumping if anyone would like to do that!
Please feel free to bring shareable goodies for the feast after the ceremony, and we do appreciate donations to help us pay to hire the fire pit and incidental expenses.
