We're starting a youth group! It's for those in school years 7-9, who are interested in exploring the Christian faith while having fun and eating yummy pud! Starts on Wednesday 4th Feb☺️

The Great Wine Quiz.
What a good way to spend a cold Friday evening in January –
tasting and trying to identify six wines from around the world, skilfully and entertainingly led by Charlie Johnston. Gill Robinson also ran an entertaining general wine knowledge quiz. After a three-way tie and tie-break questions, Cathy Duff won the first prize for correctly identifying the wines and Elaine Purvis the second. The raffle, run by Liz Parr, with three mystery wine prizes was very popular. The first joint event involving both Christ Church and Holy Saviours was not only successful but full of laughter and banter and an excellent demonstration of fellowship and joy.
We are looking forward to the next joint events

Happy New Year! 🥳 We are excited to be back this Sunday at 4 with our monthly children's service 🙌 Come along and join us as we explore our theme using crafts, stories and songs, followed by plenty of snacks😋 We hope to see you there!

We have lots on this weekend to get you in the Christmas spirit! Our Christmas Movie night is on Saturday evening, for those in school years 5-8 (parents welcome too!), with hot chocolates and popcorn galore! And on Sunday, we have our monthly 4pm children's service, exploring the theme of advent using songs, stories and crafts. It would be wonderful to see you there☺️

Our Christmas Movie Night, for those in school years 5 - 8, is on next Saturday 13th Dec, 6pm in Church! Our movie this year is Home Alone 🏠 We'll be providing hot chocolates, plenty of popcorn and a tuck shop! Bring your blanket or oodie, and we'll see you there! 🎬🍿

The children at Holy Saviours are trying to rein all of the church and parish hall toilets and taps as part of their Lent project. If you can, please support them. It costs just £60 to build a toilet for a place that doesn’t have one.
