A new church with heart 🤍

We keep Jesus at the centre,
follow the Spirit’s lead,
and make space for every story. Come join the family!

Reset Church is an Elim Pentecostal Church. Ministry in Elim today sees men and women ministering as pastors, evangelists, pioneers, missionaries, chaplains and in specialist areas that are serving local churches as well as our Movement nationally. We ordain women and men into church ministry on the same basis. Women and men have been through the same training and discernment process and have prov

ed their ministry against the same standards. We believe that God gifts men and women equally into positions of church leadership at every level. It is our intention that this is fully understood and accepted at every level of church life. Elim is committed to creating healthy churches and safe spaces for all. We recognise the ways in which children and adults can be at risk of harm or abuse, so endeavour to create a culture to minimise opportunities for abuse to occur. Children rely on adults to keep them safe, therefore all our churches working with children, either directly or indirectly, are committed to safeguarding children in their care. We seek to do this by providing a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where children can reach their full potential. Similarly, within our churches there are adults in need of protection, care and support due to vulnerability, whether that is a permanent or temporary state. We are aware too that within our churches there are relationships of trust, which flourish best within healthy churches and environments, where there is openness, transparency and accountability. We firmly believe that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and all involved in the life of our churches and activities have a role to play in keeping children, young people and adults safe. Message us to see the Reset Church safeguarding policy including contact details of our safeguarding co-ordinators. If you wish to raise a concern regarding safeguarding within the Elim organisation, the following form can be used to notify the National Safeguarding Coordinator. SEEN WITH JESUS Day 4: A Living Temple

1 Corinthians 6:19 MSG

“Didn’t you realise that your body is a sacred place, the place of the Holy Spirit?”

Under the old covenant, people travelled to a building to encounter God’s presence.

Now God lives within His people.

Think about that.

You carry the presence of God into supermarkets, workplaces, coffee shops, schools, and homes.

You don’t leave church and enter the “real world.” You bring His presence with you.

People don’t just need religious answers. They need an encounter with the living God.

And often, He reaches them through ordinary people carrying His Spirit.

➡️ Response: As you go about your day, quietly pray: “Holy Spirit, make me aware that You are with me.”

SEEN WITH JESUS Day 3:
Loved People, Love People

Scripture (John 13:35 MSG)

“This is how everyone will recognise that you are my disciples, when they see the love you have for each other.”

Jesus could have said people would recognise His followers by their theology, knowledge, or spiritual gifts.

Instead, He pointed to love.

In a suspicious world, genuine love is powerful evidence.

The kind of love that listens. The kind of love that serves. The kind of love that stays present.

Many people have experienced religion without love. Jesus never intended those things to be separated.

People may argue with our beliefs. It’s much harder to argue with genuine love.

➡️ Response: Who can you intentionally encourage, serve, or listen to today?

SEEN WITH JESUS Day two:
The Aroma of Christ

2 Corinthians 2:15 MSG

“Because of Christ, we give off a sweet scent rising to God, which is recognised by those on the way of salvation, an aroma redolent with life.”

Have you ever walked into a bakery and immediately known what was inside before seeing it?

The aroma tells the story.

Paul says our lives should carry the fragrance of Jesus.

Not the smell of judgement.
Not the smell of performance.
Not the smell of trying to prove we’re right.

The fragrance of kindness.
Grace.
Truth.
Compassion.

In a world where many people are cautious of religion, perhaps what they need most is the aroma of Christ.

When people leave our conversations, do they feel closer to Jesus or simply more aware of our opinions?

➡️ Response - Pray: “Lord, let people encounter Your character through my life today.”

SEEN WITH JESUS 🤍

Monday: More Than a Label

John 17:3 MSG

“And this is the real and eternal life: That they know you, the one and only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you sent.”

When people meet us, what do they see first?

A Christian label?
A set of beliefs?
A church attender?

Jesus didn’t come primarily to start a religion. He came so that people could know God.

There’s a huge difference between knowing facts about someone and actually knowing them. You can know a celebrity’s biography without ever meeting them. Many people know facts about Jesus, but He invites us into friendship, relationship, and connection.

I love how The Message calls this ‘the real and eternal life.’ Jesus defines life itself as knowing God.

The goal of faith is not simply information about God but intimacy with God.

➡️ Response:

Ask yourself: “Am I spending time learning about Jesus, or spending time with Jesus?”

ROOTED 🌿 Day 6:
Rooted in Identity

Roots draw nourishment from where they are planted.

If our identity is rooted in success, approval, or appearance, we will constantly feel unstable.

But when we are rooted in God’s love, we stop living like we have something to prove.

You are not loved because you perform well. You are loved because you belong to Him.

Even on messy days.
Even on tired days.
Even when your faith feels small.

The cross settled your value long ago.

➡️ Response: “Jesus, root my identity in Your love, not in performance.”

ROOTED 🌿 Day 5:
Rooted Before Fruitful

We notice fruit.
God focuses on roots.

We celebrate visible growth: success, confidence, impact, momentum.

But healthy fruit comes from hidden roots.

A tree does not force fruit overnight. It stays planted.
It keeps receiving nourishment.
And in time, fruit appears naturally.

Do not despise slow growth.

God is doing things in you that may not be visible yet - patience, wisdom, compassion, endurance, trust.

Hidden does not mean wasted.

➡️ Response: “Father, teach me to value deep roots more than quick results.”

ROOTED 🌿 Day 4:
Rooted Together

Trees in a forest survive storms better than trees standing alone.

Their roots actually strengthen one another beneath the ground.

That’s a picture of church.

We were never meant to carry life alone. We need encouragement.
Prayer. Honest conversations.
People who remind us who God is when we forget.

You do not have to pretend to be strong all the time.

Sometimes being rooted means allowing people to stand with you.

➡️ Response: “Lord, help me stay connected to You and to others.”

ROOTED 🌿 Day 3:
Rooted by Living Water

A plant can look healthy for a while without water… but eventually what is happening underneath shows on the outside.

Our souls are the same.

We cannot live on yesterday’s encouragement forever. We need fresh connection with Jesus.

Not out of guilt.
Out of need.

Prayer is not a performance. Worship is not a task. His presence is water for dry ground.

What if today you stopped trying to “hold yourself together” and simply let God refresh you?

➡️ Response: “Jesus, refresh the dry places in me.”

ROOTED 🌿 Day 2:
Rooted Through Storms

Strong trees are not proven in sunshine. They are proven in storms.

Wind reveals what has roots.

Some of us are asking God to remove the storm, while He is quietly growing strength underneath us.

Being rooted doesn’t mean life never shakes. It means we are not uprooted when it does.

If this season feels hard, it does not mean God has left you. Roots are often growing deepest when life feels hardest.

➡️ Response: “God, grow deeper roots in me, even in this season.”

Heart House Elim 🤍

ROOTED 🌿 Day 1:
Rooted in Stillness

A tree does not apologise for standing still while it grows.

Some of us feel guilty when life slows down. We think slowing means failure. But roots grow in hidden places.

God often does His deepest work in quiet seasons - beneath the surface, where nobody else can see.

Before Jesus did ministry publicly, He often withdrew privately.

Maybe today is not about striving harder. Maybe it’s about staying connected.

Take five quiet minutes today.

No pressure.
No performance.
Just be with Him.

➡️ Response: “Jesus, help me slow down enough to stay rooted in You.”
