Broad Haven Baptist Church

Broad Haven Baptist Church We meet every Sunday at 10.30 for worship. Once a month we have an all age service, and once a month we have 'Haven Church' (with cake!).

Other services have separate groups for children. Please come and join us - everybody is welcome! When we meet in the Chapel, we hold age-appropriate activities for children during our service. We meet in homes (life groups) during the week, and hold regular meetings for young people (e.g. 'Rooted Hub').

'Link' is our weekly meeting for those who live on their own (Tues 2.30pm-4.30pm). In Johnston, we run, and help to staff, the 'Help' charity shop.

Tomorrow morning at 10.30, we'll be meeting to celebrate Easter Day. The service will be suitable for all ages, and will include a baptism - so if you didn't know we had 'a big hole' under the floor (as a recent visiting school pupil called it), why not come and see what we use it for?

We're nearly set up for tomorrow morning's Good Friday Service. Why not come and join us at 10.30am for a reflective time with music, readings and prayer?

If you're eagle eyed, you'll also spot that we have water in our baptistery ready for Sunday, when we'll be celebrating Easter Day with an all age service (also at 10.30am) including a baptism - come and join us!

It has been a busy week in the chapel! As well as a visit from playgroup, Dosbarth Hedyn and Dosbarth Hedyn Bach came to learn about the chapel. Amongst other things, we talked about Bibles, Baptism and how we pray. The children were particularly interested in the 'hole in the floor' - otherwise known as our baptistery!

We love welcoming people to our building - and if you'd like to see our baptistery open, filled with water and being used, do join us on Easter Sunday morning at 10.30 when we will be celebrating Easter with a baptism!

Thank you for coming, Broad Haven Playgroup - it was good to welcome you to the chapel.

We welcomed 'Jesus' on Palm Sunday, had our feet washed and had our own version of the Last Supper - even Twiggle the Tortoise tried some hot cross buns! Thank you to the Playgroup Staff for being such good sports to give the children good experiences, as always.

Tomorrow evening!

At the end of a wet and cold half term, perhaps you need a warm and cosy film night in the chapel?

Doors open at 6.15 with the movie starting at 6.30pm.
A PG animated film (message us if you want to find out what!).
There will be popcorn and hot chocolate for children and adults and you can bring your favourite blanket/cushion etc. - why not come and join us?

Today's the day!

The Stable Trail will open its doors at 4pm, so please join us at the school ready for some (very) fresh air! Wrap up warm, bring a torch and come and join us as we retell the Christmas story with some refreshments, carols and a gentle stroll around the school field!

The School Holidays are upon us! As excitement begins to rise, why not come and join us on Sunday morning at 10.30? There will be fresh coffee and tea, cake, games, lego, Christmas craft and more. There's something for all ages, and we'll finish by joining together to light our advent wreath and sing a couple of songs together.

Thanks to all those who said they would help us with The Stable Trail 2025. As a result, we're delighted to say that the event is ON!

We'll be in touch with you if you've offered help with further arrangements, but for everyone else (and late offers of help will still be gratefully received!), do make sure you get your warm clothes and torches ready for Christmas Eve at 4pm when we'll tell the Christmas Story together in the fresh air with some carols, mulled wine and hot dogs (or felafels if you're veggie!).

You might want to come for some company as Christmas Day approaches; you might NEED to come to get the children out of the house just as the excitement levels rise to stratospheric levels; or you might just fancy bringing your visitors to something a bit different before settling in for a cosy evening together. Whatever your reason for coming, we're really looking forward to seeing you!
