In a service at St Barnabas, Warmley on the 25th November, the Rev'd Ness Brunner Ellis was installed by the Acting Bishop of Bristol to the parishes of Warmley, Bitton and Syston.

On Advent Sunday, 30th November there will be a Benefice service at 10.30am at Bitton followed by Bring & Share lunch where Ness will be present.

We had a couple of special visitors at the Heritage Open Day last Saturday and one of our visitors managed to capture this photo in the graveyard of St. Anne's, Syston

There were so many visitors that came to see our beautiful church and we do hope you all enjoyed the experience. 🦌📸⛪️

Come and join us for a Heritage Open Day. Taking place on both Tuesday 16th & Saturday 20th September from 10.30am until 3.30pm at
St Annes Syston, Gibbs Lane BS16 9LT to see the Angel murals painted by a past Lady of the Manor.

Also on show will be the font thought to date from the reign of William II. The Millennium Tapestry can also be seen.

On Tuesday our organist will play background music and there will be refreshments on both days in the Church room where there will be a display of some archaeological effects from the Syston dig.

Why not come and join us for Carols Around the Crib at 6pm on Christmas Eve - a lovely service for all the family. We also have our Midnight Mass service which starts at 11.30pm.

The bells rang out at our Festive Afternoon Tea and celebration of the Twelve Days of Christmas on Saturday. It was wonderful to welcome so many visitors and see such a lovely mixture of old and new faces to St Anne's.
Thank you for your generosity everyone including our wonderful helpers.

TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS

Join us at 2.00 pm on Saturday 30th November at St Annes Church, Syston for a Fundraising afternoon of Christmas poems and prose.
Donations for the entertainment - £6.00 per head if you are able.
Followed by a Festive cream tea in the church hall - again £6.00 per head if you are able. Plus a raffle. Please bring cash on the day.
